Slow cooker beef curry
2 lb lean braising steak (sliced)
2 large onions (sliced)
2 tsp chili paste (or fresh chopped chili if you prefer)
1 can chopped tomatoes
2 tbsp tomato puree
2 tsp ground cumin
2 tsp ground coriander
3 cloves garlic (crushed)
thumb sized piece of fresh ginger (grated )
(or I use frozen garlic and ginger paste )
salt and pepper
1/2 pt beef stock
Put everything apart from salt and pepper in the slow cooker and cook on low for 6-8 hours depending how hot your slow cooker runs. Season to taste with salt and pepper.
