Ingredients
- 400g thinly sliced beef steaks
- 1 chilli chopped finely
- 2 cloves garlic finely chopped
- 2 tablespoons cornflour
- 1 head of broccoli chopped up
- 5 spring onions sliced lengthways
- 1 teaspoon ground ginger
- 5 tablespoons soy sauce mixed
Method:-
Set the meat aside and then put the garlic and chilli in the wok making sure to scrape all the meat bits and mix well
Add the spring onions and broccoli and then the soya sauce until it starts to bubble
Stir in the beef and cook for a further ten minutes
7 syns for the whole lot - serves 3

RépondreSupprimerDefinitely not the recipe for the picture. Tasty though. I used Chicken. And I calculate it as 2 syns for the cornflour. The rest is free.
RépondreSupprimerUse cornflour based custard powder, this will give The chicken/beef a golden brown colour as apose to the light colour your left with with using just cornflour
RépondreSupprimerJust made this - if you are expecting something like the picture then don't make it! It was horrid! Meat stuck to pan when browning, no mention of when to put ginger in and I cooked the beef for an extra 5 minutes and it was seriously tough but the broccoli was still hard! Imagine how the beef would be after another 10 minutes! Sorry but it's an AWFUL recipe, most of it went in the bin (I wouldn't even inflict it on my dog! Sorry!)
