- 450g (approx) extra lean minced lamb
- 1 onion, finely chopped
- 1 clove garlic, crushed
- 1tsp ground cumin
- 2tsp ground coriander
- 1tsp ground ginger
- 1tsp turmeric
- 1/2tsp chilli powder
- A handful fresh mint (or 1tbsp dried mint)
- 1tsp english mustard
- 1 egg, beaten
- splash of worcestershire sauce
- salt & pepper to taste
- 14 wooden skewers, soaked in water
Mix together all the ingredients and leave to marinade for approx 2hrs.
Shape the mince mix into 14 small sausage shapes and put onto skewers, reshape on skewers if needed.
Can be cooked in oven, grilled, BBQed or fried in frylight until meat is cooked through.
Serve with 0% fat greek yogurt.
